Before we get started, I don’t mean for this post to be negative whatsoever! Maybe you feel completely opposite than I do and you are still in the “new year, new me” mind set ready to kick ass! BUT I’ve been riding the struggle bus over here! For my family and I this year is going to be epic! But right now, I feel like I am wishing away time waiting for all these great things to happen. Generally, I like to make the best out of boring times and stay busy but this cold weather is killin’ my vibe.
I want to be in warm sunshine, eat lunch at the park, walk around downtown with coffee, do you know what I mean?! I am guessing there is only a couple weeks of this cold weather left and then we will be ready to get that Vitamin D. To get through these next few weeks I am doing a lot but I will narrow down to the Top 2 things that are helping me get through the winter slump.
- Focusing On health
I decided to start Kayla Itsines BBG 12 week workout program. I have completed week one and eager to continue for the next 11 weeks. This program is structured and the workouts are quick which I love. I am held accountable too because I follow a a guide and would feel bad if I missed a day. 2. Spring Cleaning
Is your house still a wreck from Christmas? Probably not but mine is! We have so much stuff we need to get rid of replace and it is starting to overwhelm me. I am going to start working my way through the house cleaning each room at a time. Also, if you have any ideas about how to sell or get rid of our old stuff let me know in the comment below! Since it is still so chilly out we are spending a lot of time indoors, what better way to keep you busy than getting ahead on your spring cleaning! I try to follow a weekly cleaning schedule but some days absolutely nothing gets done…so I think making it easier and going through the rooms and making sure general chores get done daily will be better for my schedule.
